Dialog Results

The Results dialog appears upon the completion of a lesson.

Purpose:

  • Displaying statistics of a completed lesson.
  • Continuing to the next lesson or repeating the current one.

The Results dialog includes three tabs:

  • Statistics. Shows statistics for the lesson just completed and previous, including typing speed in CPM or WPM, typing accuracy rate, and lesson duration.
The statistics is available in two formats: table and diagram. The upper menu allows switching between the diagrams. A selected row of the table corresponds with the current diagram.
  • Text. Shows completed lesson text, including errors.
Characters that were mistyped are highlighted with red squares.
  • Characters. Shows detailed statistics on each mistyped character in a lesson.
The statistics is available in two formats: table and diagram.
The statistics shows the number of typos per character, character error ratio to the total number of characters, and the total number of character instances in a lesson.

There are three buttons at the bottom of the dialog: Repeat Lesson, Records, Next Lesson.

  • Next Lesson - continues to the next lesson and saves the current statistics.
  • Repeat Lesson - returns to the beginning of the completed lesson without saving the statistics.
  • Records - you can compare your results with other program users' results on the RapidTyping website->Records page.

I downloaded this for daughter as his school is encouraging touch typing. However I have found myself using it as well. The lessons are simple, and it has improved my typing skills. Thank you.
